The cons are your exemptions, but imo, the pros of a 7 outweigh anything that a 13 could ever offer.

Your 2nd mortgage cannot be stripped if you convert to a ch.7.

Hi,

Our 13 is still in limbo, was dismissed because the atty did not file the amendment and we're waiting on it to be reinstated and confirmed. Now we're being harrassed and the mortgage company will no longer accept payments.

We have a mortgage, a 2nd that was being stripped, one car in plan, another outside plan...What are the pros/cons of converting to a 7?
