One way is if you tell them about it. The other is when they check your annual tax returns every year of the plan they will monitor increases in income. I think the general rule is any income increase above 10% must be reported. That's what I hear, but every court is different.

The link there goes to an actual petition with areas highlighted for Trustees. They used to go by 10%. Not so any more. Seems that's up to the Trustee and the area now.Filed Ch 7 - 09/06

If your in a Chapter 13, and your bonus check is yearly and is more than 4% of your yearly income it is best you report it........
You don't want your Chapter 13 dismissed for not reporting and then owe all the debts in full again.....
The Trustee may or may not take it..............depending on the Trustee..Minny
