Sometimes I feel like we debtors are being treated like common criminals, maybe next the trustee’s will make us wear electronic ankle bracelets hooked up GPS so they can monitor our every move. Might as well tap our phones lines too, and yap, internet also.
Here is big Brother/Sister watching you!!!!!!!!!!!
I already feel bad enough, depression, despair, and broke, what else can they take?
Good luck with your new freedom,

I understand your flustration. The attorney/trustee/judge relationship is something the attorney doesn't want to mess with. He was probably doing the right thing but not explaining why he was or was not doing what you requested. It may or may not have helped your case out, it is hard to tell.
One way to get the payment due date changed (in a round about way) is to have it deducted from your pay check. The trustee will automatically change the date due to the date your get paid. Other than that, they stick with the 1 month after the filing. So, if you filed on the 3rd, your payment will always be due on the 3rd.
The trustee is not allowed by law to pay any funds out until the case in confirmed. If for some reason the case were to not be confirmed or dismissed, the trustee would have to return the money to you. That is why the money didn't get dispursed until the plan was confirmed.
Keep you head up, Chapter 13 sucks for 3-5 years, but when it is over, it is over. I am just telling myself the positives out weigh the negatives. I have / had debt that would never be paid off in 100 years. At least I get a fresh start in a delayed type of way.Chapter 13 Filed 4/03/06 :blink: 341 Meeting Complete 5/11/06 :yes2:
Plan Confirmation 6/16/06 :yahoo:
Discharged: 1/5/2010 :yahoo::yahoo::yahoo::yahoo:
