Chapter 13 Dispersement Day!!!!

I have to agree with Goldline. I think that I am a responsible person, but I, too, was sucked into the credit card game that the banks play. It was my fault, but the banks do pave the way for failure also. I have 4 more years before my Chater 13 is discharged, but I don't think that I will ever have another credit card. I am actually afraid of them now. Once through the bankruptcy process was enough, and when I read other posts and horror stories, I am sure of it.

It was my fault that I ended up in bankruptcy, but banks also paved the way for failure. I have 4 more years in my Chapter 13, but I know that I will never get another credit card. Actually I am afraid of them now. I never want to go though the bankruptcy process again.

Hi, maybe you guys could help....I am up to my ears in debt. Don't have much money left each month. I have creditors breathing down my neck and wanting to garnish wages.....I have about 50,000 in credit cards. I own a house and 2 cars but nothing is paid for by far. If I would to file a chapter 13 what will happen? What kind of payments would I have?? Does the trustee make car payments too? Do they take all my credit card bills and car payments, etc. and then I pay the trustee and he makes the payments? How about my house payment? Are the payments lower??? I just have a lot of questions.

screwedup, you need to start a new thread, and detail your situation. To get help, you will need to be more specific. Is your income above med, below med, are you behind on mortgage, car......ect. We have no idea what your payment might be with the information you have provided. It is based on income and expenses.
