Financial Management course after filing

So we got a letter that the trustee filed paperwork for garnishment to end. YAY! But, we also received paperwork from the Bankruptcy court that we are deficient because we didn't take the financial management course. I had no idea we had to take another course. We were able to take it online tonight but I am worried since I just read that this course is required 45 days after your 341 meeting. Now why our lawyer did not tell us is beyond me. Except if I had to do it all over again I would definately choose another lawyer that corresponds back in a timely manner. I am worried as it has been 5 loooong years and I am ready for this to be over. Do you think this is going to prolong our discharge?

Sorry you didn't have a better lawyer! The 2nd course has to be done prior to discharge but it shouldn't be a big delay. Good luck...we're at the end too, got the final accounting from trustee office, waiting out the 30 days for final objections from creditors.
