Ok, I took the advice of some and pulled my credit reports. NONE of my creditors are showing IIB. Some of them show charged off with balances or closed...but nothing like IIB. What am I supposed to do? I have been paying my trustee since October 2005. Has it been long enough for them to show up IIB? Now in the notes part of these creditors, it states Chapter 13 bankruptcy...so is that the same? I am confused. I dont know what I should be doing. Please help!

Credit report during Chapter 13

Hi,
Just a note, all 3 major credit reporting companies are required to give you a free report at least once every year, just call them.
Wage earner plan and chapter 13 bankruptcies are the same thing.
If you are paying on your plan every month that is really all that counts, being in chapter 13 ruins your credit and getting credit from any major Co. is almost impossible. Best to just make due and wait out your plan. Remember you are not allowed to take on new substantial debt as per bankruptcy code.
I did call the Equifax and TransUnion and ask them to report my credit card balances that were included in my chapter 13 as zero, which they did; you can always ask and challenge the information. How-ever, just because it is stated as zero does not get rid of the debt until it is discharged by the court, if my case were to be dismissed all the credit card balances would return plus interest.
I borrowed this from Minny, I hope minny doesn’t mind
“My suggestions are from "personal experience" and research only. Do not consider this as legal advice. Each bankruptcy case is different
