    Lol..no. can you imagine a creditor being OK with you saving instead of paying them? Any savings needs to come from padding and frugality in other categories. You did nothing wrong.

      What I am really needing is more of a household "spending" budget. After all bills are paid. I know exactly how much I have left over so now I want a category for every penny. Food, clothes, toiletries, gas. More than anything I want to live on a cash basis Dave Ramsey style envelope system. Leaving any extra in my checking/debit account for online purchases (which is my favorite way to shop).I can do this on my own to a degree but I know I will leave something out. I am the most OCD person EVER when it comes to figuring.....you would think I might have handled our money better.

        Get out your check register and start writing Down each time you bought something like food. Devide it into the months and you will have a basic idea,. Good luck. Curb your online shopping if you can for a bit!
