    Trustee is SLOOOOOW

Well, for those familiar you know my situation. Health issues, health care costs, yada yada yada. Well, my attorney forwarded all my new info regarding the $286 a month increase in our health insurance due to my company switching providers, another $2860 in medical bills not covered by insurance, and new prescription costs of $120 versus about $45 with the new carrier. This was all done by June 10th, and my attorney is yet to hear back from the trustee office. It is getting hard to make ends meet paying $980 a month to the trustee. I wish there was some level of accountability on the trustees like there is on us. Fortunatly my plan hasn't been confirmed, so it should just be a matter of changing some numbers around.

I'm hoping this goes thru for you! I am very interested to know what happens, I've read quite a bit about plans changing (going up), but not much about them going down! Let us know how it works out! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you!
If I didn't have anything to worry about, I would worry about that...

It's so good to hear from you DOA!!

Sorry that your case isn't proceeding along as quickly as you might have hoped. Maybe this will get resolved and your next payment due won't be so high.

      Fingers crossed for you!!

It may be slow, but I really think this should be something that is not an issue at all with the trustee. Health insurance is so important for financial stability--it's one of the reasons so many people get into BK. A lot of BKs are actually people with health insurance, but can't afford the co-payments for a serious health problem or injury. Twenty percent still adds up very quickly with plans that don't have an out of pocket maximum.

Has your lawyer contacted the trustee's office or the trustee attorney assigned to your case.
