I am getting ready to file for chapter 7. I sell stuff on ebay but it is not like I am getting rich on it. Maybe made 2800 clear so far this year. I just stay with my mom and her friend...on the B22a form it doesnt give a spot for "squatters"...lol...shall I just put down 0?...I want to be honest but if its legal to take a housing deduction I will do it...I am pretty nervous about the whole thing...I filed my taxes this year after not filing for several years...at least that was a relief...

I'm not <exactly> sure what you mean..Form B22a asks for the local standards (line 20b) for housing and utilities, not what you <actually> pay (in your case, nothing!)..NOTE: I am not a lawyer...any advice I give is for entertainment purposes only. Legal questions should be directed to competent counsel. I am just a troll. Or a Toad.

Most people that file Form B22A are below the Median in income. If that's the case, you'd stop on Line 15 and check the box, Presumption does not Arise.
The only way you're gonna get past Line 15 on B22A, if you're over the Median, is if you have other Secured and Priority Debts that are in excess of the Schedules allowables. Bigger mortgage payment, higher car payment, child support, back tax payments to the IRS, that type of thing.Filed Ch 7 - 09/06
