you really neet to go get a few cosultations and get a few answers

if i were you i would not be as worried as you are

i would just learn, a lawyer would be able to give you insite to the law, and taxes

and you would know if you have a solid ground or not

and again, just go for the free consultaion, and ask what the fee would be, and were he thinks you sit as you are

this is a decent step tp take, and it would releive you of alot of stress

danohio is absolutely right about how much better you may feel after meeting with a few attorneys. My wife and I were a mess before we sat down with a few atorneys. Then, once we decided who the lucky winner was (LOL), it was like a very heavy weight being lifted of our shoulders. Kinda overwhelming.

Your local NAMI (nami.com) chapter may have free lawyers for those with mental illnesses. You should check to see if you qualify and get someone that you can talk with there for your depression.

              Slow down, KCath!!

Take some deep breaths. And relax.

Dan, BassBoy, and Anon have given you some very good advice.

Right now, from what you've said, it pretty much sounds like you're nearly judgement proof.

Your bank acct was frozen so you have no cash available. You don't own any property except an old car of little value. You don't currently have a job for a Creditor to garnish your wages.

Looking at it from the other side of the fence, I wouldn't come after you. To me, it would be $$$ spent on legal fees for nothing.

On the plus side for you,.......... You have a safe place to stay. You have food to eat. Your basic needs are being met. So for right now, you are physically OK.

Check locally to see if you have a Counseling Group, or a clinic you can use to address your depression. Try the link Anon posted to see if you can get some help that way. Take care of your health first.

Financial distress alone can be overwhelming for anyone. So let's just take this one step at a time.
              Filed Ch 7 - 09/06

              Closed - 04/2007

                  seriously

i do not know what would happen with the judgment you were paying on, but the credit debt should not be a problem

on a scale of 1-10, 1 being the worse, i would rate you at a 8 with no problem

i spent 4000 on credit card 1 year befor i filed to fix my jeep, they did not have a problem, it was discharged

get a 6-7 $ a hr job, have fun till your bankruptcy is through
help mom with the house, and get help with your depression

this is one of my first threads

i wanted to throw my 24,000 401k out the door and alot more

and know i am discharged, with a 24,000 401k and did not lose hardly anything,

my line of thinking was they would take everything to my kids toys

so just sleep on it, calm down and read over the forums

                    ok?
