I know you need 6 months of pay stubs but when do they start, meaning if I file in Oct/Nov would I need May-Oct?And does the trustee check during the filing period to make sure there is no pay increases?
Thanks
From what the attorney I met with yesterday said, if you file in November, since the month is not over yet, you need most current, Oct, Sept, Aug, July, June, May... If you file before Oct is over, you need until April... Thats what I was told
You need the six months before the month you file.If you file in October you will need April thru Septembers and if you file in November you will need May thru Octobers. If all your paychecks during that 6 mos period is not the same you need to add them up,total them and then divide the total by 6.That will give you your monthly average over the six month period of time.
I beleive the trustee will ask for a copy of your last 2 months worth of pay advices.

Even tho the Law says you have to have 6 months of pay stubs, it really winds up being like 7 months. We filed mid Sept and the attny had to have pay stubs back thru March 1.
