    reaffrimation question

    hi everyone! my 341 is next friday october 6.i just found out that to reaffirm my car and first and second mortgages that its going to cost more money for my lawyer to do this for me.my question is can i do this myself and if so what kind of forms do i need and is it very difficult to do?i did call the bank where my first mortgage is and they said that they dont give out the papers anymore to call my lawyer to do do this.the thought of coming up with more money for my lawyer makes me sick.im afraid to ask how much this would cost.any help would be greatly appreciated.

    You may be caught in a "betwixt and between" situation, Saucey. With having started with an attny and now wanting to Reaffirm "Pro Se" so to speak. You might want to check with the Clerk of the Court to see if you can do this on your own first.

    If you can, you might be able to get the Forms from the Clerk of the Court. The Clerk can tell you what you need to do and how to proceed.
