What happens if I file w/o husband but he is one 1 account?

I plan to file without husband for Ch7 soon. I will see an attorney friday. But I am wondering what exactly happens if 1 one the accounts is a joint account? I know it will show on his credit report -right. Will it be discharged also? or will they go after husband? Any one here have this particular situation? If so, how did it play out?

Hi Pennywise. I believe that the debt will have to be paid by him. I don't think you can discharge a joint debt without him filing as well. He will probably be stuck with it.

Haven't gone through it like that personally because we both filed but i think this is the way it goes.
