The main reason I filed BK was because of a pending judgement. I filed before my dealine for the judgement. I received papers today saying that a judgement had been given to CACV (who was suing me). Funny thing about it though..postmark on envelope was dated October 27 AND there was one for November 3. Date on judgement was Nov. 2. I was told by BK clerk that they were served notice. They are sending me papers for an adversary filing. Not sure what this is yet, need to look it up. I do know that it is considered illegal for them to do anything after the automatic stay is in place --correct?? I contacted the "scumbag" attorney for CACV and they really were backstepping trying to make it like it was all ok. I told them I know it is illegal for them to do this. Put me on hold a long time, came back and said they would immediately file to have the judgement released.
