    trust the lawyer?

I called my lawyer last night just to get some reassurance. I asked him how many bank statements I should bring with me to the 341. He said just 1 month (the month prior to me filing) I also asked him if I needed to list all of my husband's guns (he is in law enforcement so most of his guns are work-related) He said to just list a couple of them and they would put down that they are only worth $30 or $40. Is it true that the trustee really don't "investigate" things thoroughly? Do they check the cc statements from 6 or 7 months ago and object to that or is that the job of the cc companies? I am sorry this is so long, but I am just trying to prepare myself for what is coming up (mentally)

For the most part, the trustee's do not do much investigation. If there is a problem with you credit card charges, then you creditors will show up to the 341 meeting. Plus, if the guns are work related, my guess is you can exempt them anyway.
