Starting to get a wee bit frustrated as 12+ days have now passed since the deadline for objections and I'm not discharged. There were no objections nor were there a single complication in the process. There were no trustee questions etc. Reviewing cases filed in the same district within 20 days +/- it seems it's related to the judge taking some time. I'm not sure if it could be he's out/sick or if it's just a glitch but I'm wondering what the average time to discharge AFTER the deadline for objections most of you had?

Usually, you will receive your discharge 60 days from the date of your 341 meeting. If there does not seem to be any abnormal issues with you case and it has been 60+ days since your 341 meeting, then you should call the Bankruptcy Court Clerk (don't call the trustee or the judge, call the court clerks office) and politely find out what the hold-up is.

My last day for objections was on 09/27, my case was discharged and closed on 11/08. I know how frustrating the wait can be, but it is worth it!! You have to remember that we are in the middle of the holiday season, so it might take a couple extra weeks. Hang in there..........To err is human. To really mess things up, you need a computer.
