I have had quite a few cash advances from my cc. I haven't filed yet (putting time btwn usage). I had anticipated on paying all of this back, however my husband got a different job now (and we have to move)...blah blah blah...to make a long story short, should I send the cc a letter stating what happened? Do you think that would stop any adversary cases? We really intended on paying this back. If they know that they would lose in court (considering my circumstances), then maybe they wouldn't file a case. Who knows, maybe they wouldn't file a case anyway? I overanalyze everything! Has anyone tried this? :o

Writing the creditors are letter isn't going to do much if you don't intend on making your monthly payments. Most they'd probably do is extend you a couple of months of deferred payments. But if you don't resume making your monthly payments after this, they'll begin collection activity against you.Originally posted by worriedbk7I have had quite a few cash advances from my cc.
