We moved to a new state in July and are filing here next month. I know we can use our old state for exemptions which is awesome because we can use state or federal and both are better than where we live now. But what state median do we use or old state or new?

We moved too, and did not have 2 years in the New State when we filed.
Our attny used the New State's Median on the Means Test. Since we were below the Median, he didn't have to use any Standard Allowable expenses. Then, our attny applied our Old State's Exemptions Statutes to our property on Schedule C.Filed Ch 7 - 09/06
