close cc accounts prior to bk?

Does it make any sense to close my cc accounts to stop late fees and overlimit fees? I know it sounds silly. Does it stop the calls???

Well, I closed them and it didn't stop the fees and overlimit fees, if you stop paying, you'll get late fees until you actually file, at least that's been my experience.

Exactly, closing the accounts will have no affect on late fees and interest. As long as you owe them money they will keep adding on the fees. Same thing with the calls, as long as you owe them money they will call.
