Filing July 1 any advice?

Hey All,

Thanks to everyone for their responses I have found a lot of info. on this site useful. I have to wait until July 1 to file due to income and I talked to my lawyer and he just told me to keep getting him my pay info and to pay him the balance on my account lol..... Anyone have any advice or good info i should keep in mind.

I just filed on 3/27/07, but one thing you need to do is make sure you have complete faith in your attorney. For your own sanity, you need to know that if he says you have nothing to worry about it's probably true (to the best of his knowledge anyway!). Keep all paystubs and bank statements... and if you have lost your social security card, get a new one (I had to do that since you'll need it for your 341 meeting). Get a copy of your credit report so you can make sure you're getting most of your debts (some are not on the report, so keep up with those). Do NOT use your cards at ALL. Know that we are all here for you and going through much the same thing. I've found the information on here to be priceless and everyone is so supportive. Read up on the sticky note in General about PACER, you'll want to set up an account when you file so you can keep up with how your case is going. Most of all, stay calm. If you have any questions, never hesitate to ask your attorney for legal advice or the forum for basic experience questions. You'll be fine! Good luck to you!!!
