    A few questions

I filed a chapter 7 and I have been to court. I had 2 trucks I claimed one and I was going to keep one, well I have found out I still cant afford the truck I have so is it to late to claim it also. I thought you had so many days after your court date. Also will I be able to buy a vehicle with no money down after my discharge? My wife is cosigned on the truck I want to claim now, will it just show up on her credit as repo or will they come after her for mor money after they repo it or how does that work? She didnt file. Thanks for your help.

I can personally tell you that you absolutely will NOT be able to buy a vehicle with no money down.

After going to about 5 different dealerships, one of the guys sat me down and was pretty blunt, but very honest. He told me to stop having my credit pulled, come up with a huge down payment, or wait about six months and drive a beater car until I had built my credit up a little bit more.

Most of the places I went to never even bothered to give me a call back. They sent me a "dear john" letter in the mail. I was kind and wrote them back and told them thank you for discriminating against me because I had filed bankruptcy, and reminded them that it was illegal. If I had had perfect credit, they would have been on my butt for days to buy, and I don't think that's right.

Anyway, NOPE, you can't buy with $0.00 down... I have already tried, and it did NOT go well at all.
BUSY running my own credit repair services! Sorry I don't stop in so often any more!

You wife may get balanced billed, in addition to having her credit marked with Repo.

      Good Luck!
