Ch 13 to Ch 7 pro-se and under old law?

I have some friends that filed ch 13 just over 2 years ago. They are really struggling to make ends meet since he's been out of work for 6 months now. Some questions they have.

1) Can they convert to ch 7 pro-se?

2) Since they filed under the old law I believe that their conversion to ch 7 would be under old law as well correct? If so, where do they get the proper forms to file under old law?

3) Can they keep their home provided it is within the exemption? Car?

Well some fine toothed searching got me the answers to 1 and 3 but now I need to know where my friends can get the forms to file under old law.

Any ideas?

go to the trustee's website or search bankruptcy court in michigan. Under my trustee's website, there is a link to go to for forms. Hopefully you will find it there.
