    First USA merged?

I'm trying to figure out what to list for a credit card I had called First USA. It looks like this was a card issued by BankOne, which was bought by Chase in 2005 from my online searching. My debt with them is from years ago. I still see that there is a web site for First USA with the same PO Box as my original statements. Which name should I use for the original name of the creditor? FirstUSA, BankOne or Chase? I'm filing myself, so it would be a great help if anyone has info on FirstUSA. Thanks!

Use Chase...since they bought out/merged with Ist USA/Bank One

I would use whatever is on your credit report.

I had a Chase card also. My credit report shows:

        Chase - (that debt)
        Chase (BankOne) - (that debt)

So, I should use Chase and just list the original card account number?

Quite honestly list both put chase/bankone as the name of the creditor to cover all bases
Sometimes life make you deal with ugly and hateful people ,just think of them as sand paper. They may scratch you and rub you the wrong way but eventually you end up smooth and polished and the sand paper becomes old and worn out.
