    I got the NOLO eBook!!!

I got the Nolo ebook and I was up until past midnight reading through it!! I feel so much more confident that I have some instruction to guide me through this. The good thing is that I had already filled out all of my paperwork and there are some worksheets in the book to help me find all my expenses and exemptions. So I really only have to add a few things on a few pages, nothing big. I was so worried before I got it that I may have to hire an attorney because it may get to be too much but truth is... I had already done all the hard work. All I have to do now is file it and wait.

And, It even tells me how to handle the court process. I LOVE this book, thank you everyone for pushing me to get it and for being here when I need support. I love this website and I promise that I'll be back after mine is over to do what I can to help.

      Cool! It's a great book.

But, understand it does NOT tell you everything nor include everything you will need to file. But it is probably the best resource out there.

Make sure you visit the Federal Bankruptcy website for the locale that you will be filing in. Almost all the BK courts have so-called "self help" sections for Pro Se filers.

Its extremely informative, may have local forms for you to fill out and file with your petition, and will go a long way to assist you in meeting all the local requirements for your particular court. There can be many...

The court clerks can be great info providers also, if they have the time. Be nice.

Although I chose to go with an attorney, the site here in Ft. Worth is extensive and has copious amounts of data.

It really has helped me understand the process and to keep tabs on what my attorney may or may not be doing.

      Regards,
