    After discharge - judgments

Once my Chapter 7 is discharged (hopefully!),
how do I get rid of judgments against me?
I can't afford a lawyer, so I'll be doing everything myself.

Also, the 3 judgments are at my local district court, do I need
to file something with that court that I've filed chapter 7?
Or is the notice from the BK court sufficient?

    Thanks

Swing by the Court House with your BK Documents. Petition, Creditor's Matrix, and Discharge. Tell the Clerk you need to know how to have Judgements Vacated. There may be a form to file. You might have to pay a fee. The Clerk will probably need to see your BK paperwork to know the debts have been Discharged.

But that's what you're looking to do. Have the Judgements Vacated.
    Filed Ch 7 - 09/06
    Discharged - 12/2006
Officially Declared No Asset - 03/2007
    Closed - 04/2007
