I am filing alone. I did not want my hubby to file because his CC debt is under $2,000 and mine is MUCH higher. My lawyer has been really great so far and said I qualify for a chapter 7. I did have to include my husbands income, etc.. and the paperwork was a pain in the butt, but so far all is working out. I go in tomorrow for my final payment, and then the ball will get rolling

i filed pro se without my husband. mostly because he is a foreign national and doesn't have a SSN yet and has no debt.... nor a job yet... we are waiting for his greencard and SSN.

so far, my bk case has been tolerable.... no major problems, yet... hopefully none!
