After meeting questions....

Okay, yes, I have way too much time on my hands and I have been thinking...

How long does it take for the trustee to update pacer??? As you guys know my 341 meeting went really smooth just yes and no questions and they just verified my husband's yearly income. The trustee then stated our paperwork was in order and we were free to go.

Okay, is there somekind of clues that the trustee will file us as abuse??? I feel we will be okay but you know you just never know. He did not ask us anything, nothing about bank statements, taxes, reservation money, nothing just basic and to verify how much my husbands makes. We have no assets, I am not worried about that.

Do they usually give you a "clue or heads up" at the meeting of something in question that can affect your case???? I want to relax but I can't

usually within 10 days it will say 341 held and concluded. then if everything is okay it will say no asset no distribution report. then discharge and close.

isn't there a clue if they found something wrong??? I would hate for them to claim abuse but at the meeting asked nothing so we can defend ourselves. For example, from previous post I have read, you can kind of tell if the trustee had a red flag, the questions that was asked needed detailed question or in some cases the trustee would let them know upfront if they needed to convert. The question we were asked did not require details just yes or no. I volunteered details because I wanted all my medical expenses included and not just some on schedule J.

I noticed the group before us, a few people came out looking a little upset, one lady came out in tears almost and her and her lawyer went over the details. So, I know the trustee had to have asked them more then yes or no questions. Don't get me wrong I am happy he did not ask further questions but in the same time, if he had a red flag about something I would have hoped he would have asked it. Everyone is telling my meeting is a good sign, I hope this is true, the fact we are over the median scares me even though our medical expense exceed the norm and we owe the IRS a lot of money, you know he did not even ask about the IRS. I better stop complaining because I don't want to jinx us either.

Overall, he seemed to be a kind and fair man. He was the father figure type and gave us a really nice speech to relax us before he began his questioning.

I think that you would have seen a red flag or he would have asked you more detailed questions.

yeah, i think if the trustee didn't ask a lot of detailed questions that sounded like he thought your paperwork was suspicious, then he may soon ask to be relieved from your case.
it could also mean he might spend more time reviewing your case... but he had to have reviewed everything in detail beforehand... so hopefully, there were no red flags.
at the 341, my trustee asked detailed questions to the cases before me... specific questions from things he found in their paperwork... even told them things they needed to submit to him or to the court.
with me, he said nothing was objectional and wished me luck.
it took him a week for it to show up in pacer that he wanted to be released from duty of my case.
