Creditors from far away at 341 Meeting

Just off the top of you guys head, can you remember if we ever discussed creditors at the 341 meeting who are far away from where we live. I wondered about traveling to the meeting from far away places....for credit card balances no doubt but anything is possible and I do not want to get too cocky. I think I remember a post about this.

I personally have never met or herd of anyone who actually had a creditor show up at the 341 but I guess it can happen.

a rep from Chase bank showed up at ours.

Also many other creditors show up at meetings in this Orlando middle district. It happens quite frequently from what We have observed.

If its a major creditor (i.e. major credit cards), they have attorney's on retainer in most major metropolitan areas that can handle objections for them, so showing up is no big deal.

But most people freak out over objections. Frankly, most creditors do not show up at the 341.

I am happy, No Creditors Showed for the Meeting

I really was happy and I am glad its over. No creditors showed up for the meeting. I am part of the 60 day clubwaiting for any objections, but other than that..smooth sailing as far as creditors being there goes. I will just wait and see.
