Statement of Intent

I'm going over my paperwork and just triple checking everything. I see a note I made on the checklist of forms to turn in to the court - I have trustee? next to the Statement of Intention (Form 8). I remember asking the clerk if I was supposed to give it to her then or mail it to the trustee. I didn't write down the answer she gave me (idiot!!). I think she said to mail it to trustee. BUT the problem is that it was supposed to be filed within 30 days or by date set for 341 meeting. My 341 isn't until September 13th but I am 34 days since filing. Will they dissmiss me for this?!? I don't know if I should call the clerk tomorrow and check again if I was supposed to mail it in or just mail it along with my paystubs to the trustee. I checked Pacer and it's not listed as a separate document so I don't think it's there.
I do need to turn it in since I'm reaffirming my car loan.

The statement of Intent was suppose to go to the clerk, you have 15 days after filing to submit it. did you received a letter stating you were missing documents??? If they were going to dismiss you regarding that you would have received a letter.

The worse that can happen if you don't get it in is you will not get credit for that expense. For example, if you put your car payment down as an expense and plan to keep it, if you did not note on your statement of Intent the you will not get credit for that expense because in the trustee eyes you are going to let it go and then you no longer have that expense.

Sorry - false panic over here. I double-checked pacer and it was there under the main petition. Deep breath, calm down...

Trust me if you forgot something they would have told you. just call the clerk tomorrow to make sure you check it off. Also tell the clerk you have not received the list from the trustee of the docs you will need to mail. You are going to have to sen dmore then the paystubs.

I thought I would get a letter from him saying what he wanted. To be honest, the time has been creeping by and I realized I have to get all this out by tomorrow in order for him to get in within 10 business days (that's what's required by my district). I have everything ready to go. I'll call his office tomorrow and just double-check what they want.
I have to be careful - I keep getting tunnel vision on things and not seeing the big picture. I don't want to miss a date or something and mess the whole case up!
