Need help! Didn't file before court date?

Hey everyone,

I have a quick question. I had a judgement made against me on 8/3, so I had 30 days to do something. My BK paperwork was in this week and I'll be doing my credit counseling tomorrow. My lawyer's office can't file me before 9/3. They said that nothing bad will happen b/c I didn't file within the 30 days after the judgement. Is that true?? I am SO worried! Thank you for your help.

Did you include the judgment in the bk papers. So long as its included it should be taken care of no sweat.

I had kinda the same deal. Lawyer put it in the paperwork and I've not heard no more about it.

Yes, I included the judgment with my paperwork. Labor Day is the 30 day deadline to do something after the judgment, but my lawyer hasn't filed my BK yet and won't have me in to sign until next week.
