I just filed fo Ch.7 bankruptcy. My 431 meeting will be the 24th of may. my question is, I just found out that the VA has approved me for disability and I will be getting a check from them every month now. Will that check be counted as extra income or will it be exempt form this?

Veterans Benefits are generally exempt under 38 U.S.C. 5301. However, your state may also have a specific exemption related to veterans benefits.
You may want to amend your petition to add these benefits in your Schedule of Personal Property and then note the exemption on you schedule of exemptions.
