    ATM Withdrawals close to filing

We will most likely be filing mid-October, possibly early November. As we have stopped using credit cards this month, I have used the ATM on numerous numerous ocassions. I should have just kept the cash out altogether, I guess. But my question is, will these withdrawals look suspicious? I'm talking like $20 and $40 withdrawals, but sometimes several times in a week. Switching to all cash has been an eye-opener. Anyway, withdrawals were made on:

    09/04 - 60.00
    09/07 - 40.00
    09/10 - 40.00
    09/11 - 20.00
    09/12 - 40.00
    09/18 - 40.00
    09/19 - 60.00
    09/24 - 40.00
    09/26 - 40.00

That's a total of $380.00, but obviously we haven't charged gas or groceries or any of the other routine stuff we would charge. And this is after paying all our CC payments, mortgage, utilities. I guess upon looking at that, that doesn't seem like that much for groceries, gas, lunches, school pictures, etc.

I'm just getting sooooo nervous as filing time approaches. I don't want anything to look suspicious.

MY attorney told me yesterday that we need to be able to document where every cent of cash went. Save your receipts and don't buy any luxery items and you should be ok.

The trustee never asked about the cash withdrawals in the couple of months before my filing date, but I did the same thing, went to cash only. He'd have only had to add up my expenses for the same amount of time prior to that, and it would have been almost the same amount of money. Mine were in fewer, larger chunks, though. (200 twice, and 120 once, I think)

I also took the rent $ out the day before filing and bought a money order with it, and paid the rent with the MO so it wouldn't be in my account the next day. I had the MO receipt, but he never asked for it.

I think if it's no more than you would normally spend, and you can prove where it went IF they ask, you'll be fine.

I go to Walmart to get my cash at the register. Buy a Coke and get $40 cash back. That way the bank statement makes it look like you've been to Walmart to pick up food items occasionally.
