my husband and i will be filing ch7 within the month. my ? is that we really dont wantto rent if we can avoid it, but there are possibilities of land contracting. do i have to wait until the year or six months or whenever im supposed to get discharged to look into a land contract? if i am able to, i realized that i will wait until im filed before signing anything. just wondered if anyone has had any experiences with land contracting instead of renting after bk. 
--nevermind, i finally swam through this site and found some posts similar: i guess i have to wait until discharge, but if someone is willing to work with me, is it still a bad idea? i would rather pay towards my down payment for two years than rent for nothing.
