Just another Q and thanks for all help. When I left my old job, I set myself up to be a independant agent and charged a desktop and laptop computer in Jan of this year. The cost was about $2300 and will this be a problem if I file. I rarely use my cards now and do so for gas and groceries. I failed at my attempt to be an independant and have earned about 3k so far this year. My wife is trying to keep us afloat, but only makes 2k a month. My CC bills alone are 1k, the house 900 and that doesn't include everthing else.

You should be fine with the laptop purchase. Did you purchase the laptop using secured credit or unsecured? Worse case scenario, the creditor will just petition to recover it.Originally posted by mrman
