Hey Guys....Just wanted to give you an update on my vehicle situation. I will be surrendering my car in my BK because im so upside down on it...i really need to move quick...im only 21 days late on my payment for September...but the Branch Manager at the place where my vehicle is financed has been calling me and leaving harsh messages w/ my mom as well as my job...and he came to my house yesterday...he knew i was at home because my car was out there...banging on my door...they dont know about the BK yet...because i wont be filing until sometime next week hopefully(giving my lawyer the rest of her payment on Monday the 15th).....but anyways..i need another vehicle....I applied at 722redemption.com...and they called me back today and said i have been approved. I asked him if i was supposed to wait until the 341 meeting...or when I could do the replacement...he said as soon as i have my filing # i could go ahead on the dealers website and check out the vehicles...so...you dont have to wait until the 341 meeting(someone on here said you did)...i understand the interest rate will be high...but as soon as im discharged...i will refinance w/ either Capital One or RoadLoans.....I feel a lot better now about the vehicle....but still looking for a new place closer to the Job...im trying to rent a home...trying to make life better for myself and my 5 month old...crazy...because i work for a bank..and i here my co-workers ragging on people that file BK.....and they have no idea...that im about to do the same thing.....i wonder what they would say about me......

Confused on the process of redemption
At what point in the bankruptcy do you apply for the redemption? I have not hired a lawyer cause I can't find one that beleives in the redemption. I have a vehicle I am upside down in and want to keep. I visited two lawyers. One said he never heard of redemption and the other said she didn't want me to do that and that single moms like myself have done amazing things and gotten new cars in bankruptcy. I asked her to ellaborate on that and she would not.

Understand that places like this are considered "predatory lenders." In some cases, if you are even one day late, they will come and take the car, so buyer beware.Originally posted by tiredofdebt1 View PostHey Guys....Just wanted to give you an update on my vehicle situation. And don't worry about what other people may think. I was called every name in the book, and I now have better credit than some of those who called me names. Just focus on getting back on your feet, and not going throughthe same things over again, no matter what they are!BUSY running my own credit repair services! Sorry I don't stop in so often any more!
