Why s the means test so hard to uderstand...

I have been fooling around with a means test calculator, but I don't know how to understand some of the questions! Does anyon have a link to a means test calculator that actually had good instructions that go with it?

There are little green question marks you can click on at the top of each section. A little window opens that kind of explains what they are looking for & how they arrived at the questions. If it does not make sense today then go back in a couple of days & keep reading til it does make sense.

As far as an instruction page, there might be. I don't know.

All they are looking for is to see how you will qualify for BK, trying to zero out your bills & expenses to your income & see what is left over or what you are in the hole with. Well, I am sure you figured that part out by now LOL! I kind of looked at it as a complicated tax return with a bunch of hoops & jumps.

Yes, Bandit, that is the one that I used. I'm driving myself nuts with this! I see an attorney on Friday, with a long list of questions. Thanks for the reply. This is a great place!

What exactly do you need help with? I used that one too and I had no problem with it at all.... the page could have been laid out a little differently but that's the only thing I didn't like.

I'd be happy to walk you through it if I can. If you have yahoo or msn messenger, I can talk you through it while you do it.

you also need advice from a lawyer in your area because some things are according the court how you can list them etc.
