This is my first post to this forum. I just found it a few days ago, and it is been an amazing learning tool. I am going to file chapter 7 as soon as I get my documents together for the lawyer. Well I am now worried sick. My attorney asked for the last 4 years of federal and state tax returns. I live in Oregon, and have not filed any state returns in that time. I actually would have gotten a refund for the years...but I was just too lazy and did not want to do any extra taxes. I thought if I don't owe money, no big deal. But now I can't get any sleep stressing about this. I just called my attorney's office, but I think they are closed today. Does anyone know if this will stop my ch. 7 from going through? I just want to start my life over, and hope this won't change that. If anyone can tell my some good advice, or how to go forward, I would really appreciate it!! Thanks so much.
