I'm in the Southern district. I know your area is jammed with foreclosures, but we are pretty heavy in F/C also. I guess our court system is just well staffed.

As I read the post, I too wondered why some closings are real fast when others have taken as long as a year...whats that about?

6ft, I think it depends on things like if they want your tax return, if you are an asset case. In our district it takes another month to close up to ????? days after discharge. I think there is a thread about that somewhere that one of the moderators could post here re: the specifics that affect closing. Let me just say I am not holding my breath....
