Rent Question

Hi: My wife is booth renting in a salon and she has her business corporated. Big question is that she is new and is not able to make and cover her rent, so we have to pay her rent from my income. (my income is our other business,seperated corporation also, pays for itself, brought home a lot of money before, but now has gone down alot, but its still is our main/only income source). How does this work. While I am not making any payment to CC can we make checks (from home) for her rent at salon? Do they ask why do you do this? We are filing jointly.thanks for any idea.
