I had my 341 meeting on May 18, 2005 please tell me what happens next
How long do the creditors have to object, when will i get my discharge notice in the mail, when can i apply for credit, please help me oh and my case was filed on april 24, 2005

My husband and I just received our notice of discharge june 7th (great relief off my shoulders) we had out 341 March 24th. so it took approx 9weeks total. as for credit, you may want to wait for couple month, pull your credit report, may corrections or repairs if needed, watch your score go up then apply. waiting will eventually get you better rates. but even better, why not just save instead. dont place yourself in the same situation as before.

You are financially better off now than you ever have been for a long time.

Take advantage of the situation - build a "nest egg" and keep yourself on a budget within your financial means.

Make this BK "work for you" so you can enjoy life! Not stay in a fight with it!

Your discharge date is usually within 3 months of 341 meeting, unless a creditor objects.

Now its the "waiting game".
