Two adult sisters jointly own and live in condo, with no spouses. Sister A is filing bkcy. For purposes of means test, is the family size one or two? Does sister B's income (or expenses) play any part in A's petition?

Sister "A" would have to include B's income in the "total household income" figure, and divide the expenses 50/50.Originally posted by sizz View PostTwo adult sisters jointly own and live in condo, with no spouses. I'm totally guessing here - so take that for what it's worth. But, I would guess that if you can still claim him as a dependent, then you probably wouldn;t need to. If you can;t claim him anymore, then you would add him in, but also add in his expenses, I would think.Originally posted by tay666 View PostReally.
What if you had a 19 year old son still living at home.
And he has a job.
Would that have to be included?
Even though all his pay goes to his car, in his name, and the insurance for that car.
