Can a Ch 7 close out without a reaffirmation hearing?

My case is set to close out soon, and I have a reaffirmation agreement which was filed pro se and also there is a presumption of hardship so I am waiting a hearing but nothing has been set, is it possible the clerk will close out the case or will the clerk keep the case open until the hearing is held?

I would imagine that the case has to be kept open until the reaff is hammered out (esp because there is a presumption of hardship) but you can call the clerk and ask -- they can't give you advice, which you know, but they CAN tell you the process, which is what you need to know right now. Also, keep checking PACER and don't wait on the mail. Good luck!!!
Nolo Press book on filing Chapter 7, there are others too. (I have no affiliation with Nolo Press; just a happy customer.) Best wishes to you!
