341 done-But I changed my mind

My 341 went well last week and I was planning on reaffirming the House and two car loans. After this weekend I have decided that I don't want to reaffirm the cars that I planned on keeping. Can I do this?
If I give the cars back I am still going to need another car maybe a clunker or cheaper car. Either way may overall income vs. debt is still negative. Help!

You need to amend your statement of intentions on your petition, but, yes, you can change your mind and let the cars go.

Im doing the same thing but my attorney said I didnt have to change anything on my petition. He said if we dont reaffirm the truck and give it back it wont hurt our discharge. He suggested for us to call the bank after our discharge because we had already paid this months payment and our last day of objections is June 27. I dont know if each state is diferent in this. I am in NY
