    Judgments

Does anyone know how to go about getting judgments out of a person's name after they've been discharged in BK? I know that there are extra steps, but I don't know what they are. Also, how to you "show" that that particular judgment has been discharged, since the Order for Discharge is unspecific re: debts?

I have seen people answer this question I am not an expert myself. The answer that I have seen is that you have to file a motion to vacate with the court who ordered the judgement. Not much info but hopefully somewhere to start.

Yep, you simply file a Motion to Vacate judgment at the court where the judgment was entered and attach a copy of your discharge order and schedule or creditors.

Does my husband (petitioner) have to appear a hearing for each judgment against him?

Typically no hearing is scheduled. You simply file the paperwork, mail it to the affected creditors (and/or their attorney of record) and that is the end of it.
