    my husband pays 102.00 a week for childsupport that comes directly out of his paycheck every week, do they see this as disposable income because this is court ordered to come from his check each week..

    thank you all for helping me better understand how this all works!!!!!

    No, its not disposable income. Child support payments are exempt, but in addition to listing it as a source of income on Schedule I of the BK Petition, you must also list the Child Support Obligation as an Asset and claim the appropriate exemption.

    On a side note, I have noticed you have been asking a lot questions about various subjects of BK, you really need to find away to hire an attorney to help you with your BK, you have too much going on and too many different issues to attempt to do it yourself.

      yes sir i do agree with you..LOL i do have tons of ?`s.
      i have retained a lawyer and i almost have him paid off. thank you for all your advice and comments, it is greatly appreciated.
