Incurring new debt while in a chapter 7

We had our 341 meeting and are awaiting our discharge from chapter 7.

Does anyone know if you can incurr any new debt while awaiting discharge? If you have a loan with your credit union (and are reaffirming, and are still making the payments) can you borrow more from this credit line loan?

I didn't know if you could get in trouble with the Trustee or US Trustee for this, or if it could affect our discharge?

No, you are not supposed to incur debt and lenders are not supposed to offer you new debt until after you are discharged.

Reality check for a second, you just filed bankruptcy and you're already talking about getting new debt, slow down!
