Hi,
My 341 meeting is in 2 weeks i just wanted to ask what does this mean? I found it on pacer under my bankruptcy case (Request for Notice on Behalf of American Express Bank, FSB) does this mean they are comeing to my meeting of just that they want to know the status of my case after the meeting or something ? I dont know why they would come i have not spent on the card for like 3 years and only owe like $1000 one of my smaller accounts, im in a chapter 7 .

It's most likely that they want to be notified in case there are assets found to be distributed. I doubt they'll show up at your 341 for a 3 year old debt unless you applied fraudulently ie: lied about your income on the application, didn't have employment at the time you applied and thus never intended to pay.. which is fraud. If none of that applies.. don't sweat it. There's enough stress in this process as it is!

thank you for the reply its a no asset case or should be i have not house and I owe more on my car then its worth and no other kinds of assets 401k ect. So i feel better now

Amex lawyers were had special requests in my case, they never showed up. They may look into it as part of smart business policy.
