Trustee's putting you under a microscope

Ok, I have my 341 next week but I want to ask this to "seasoned 341'ers). When you hand over your bank statements, 401K, etc, etc - how often have you noticed the Trustee asking to see another copy of the payroll stub, bank stmt, 401K days before the discharge?

I hear stories that some hand over their docs during the 341 and thats all they hear, nothing else. I am checking to see if people have had their Trustee ask for new/updated docs right before the discharge.

When we attended our 341, the trustee actually handed everything we sent in when we filed (taxes, pay stubs, bank statements, etc.) back to us and told us we could have it back. He also teasingly accused our attorney of trying the 'bury him with all this paperwork'. (We provided everything and then some whe nwe filed).

He didn't ask for anything else.

Then about 10 days after our 341, the UST asked for copies of some credit card statements and an explanation of why we had sooooo much unsecured debt. We provided this information (through our attorney) and have not heard a peep from the UST since.

When we gave the info to our lawyer, he told us that we should be in the clear.
