There were three of us in my time slot, all chap 7. we were last to be called being prose. i had to take my kids, but they were really good.
first guy went, had his wife with him, but he filed by himself. he was asked why he filed alone, why he filed bankruptcy, and he answered he couldn't make the payments, and the trustee responded, well i guess you shouldn't have opened all those accounts then.......he also asked him about his income and why it went down.
he had a lawyer, and the lawyer forgot to file schedule J, so he was continued. conn's appliance showed and he claims he never had an accoutn with them.
second guy, had a lawyer and this was his 2nd meeting. he filed last july. well, he was continued again, because his lawyer left out 2 schedules!
we got up and he asked us all the basics, then asked why we filed, and i told him , primary earner loss of income. he said i would have to elaborate and made me list all my diagnosis', which there are alot. i broke into tears while saying this, because i didn't know i had to tell them what i had wrong with me.....the paralegal from the court was there, and very nice. on tape, she asked how i got the forms, and i told her, i got them from a workforce center here in town, and that is why they are completed by hand. she complimented me on how well i did on the forms and said nothing was missing at all. conn's was there for us as well, but they charged off our debt a while back and the property is still at our old house, we had no money to move it, so i don't knwo what happens with that. that was all they asked.
i looked on pacer, and all it says is that a meeting was held, but nothing else....should i be worried?
