What was the total cost to file your Ch7?

My costs were:

$299 Filing Fee
$1000 Attorney Fee
$50 Credit Counseling Course( Pre Filing)
$16.95 Debt Management Course (Pre Discharge)

almost $500 when you count the pacer accounts and the software I bought since I went pro se.
BUT we had moved and had to fly back to our state of filing for the 341, so that was almost $400 bucks for the two of us. Totally worth it since we didn't have to come to our new state and wait and keep getting creditor calls.

Hrm, mine is pro se, so assuming I get discharged without further drama, my costs are:

Filing fee: $299
PACER acct: maybe $20
Books and supplies (paper, postage, etc.): probably $70 or $80
Time: priceless

I have not filed yet but was told around $1500 (with fine prints, if you get into objections or stuff like that, you need to pay your atorney more & Re-hire her/him)
